Workshops & Courses

Through in-person, hybrid, and virtual experiences, I help individuals and groups explore the meanings and attachments people carry to places—from homes and neighborhoods to memorial landscapes and nations—and practice ways to build belonging, repair, and courageous conversation. Invite me to help your community see place, power, and each other anew.

Core-Respondence: Finding Your “Place” in a Shaky World

Core-Respondence teaches critical, decolonial, relational thinking-with place. We attend to how meanings and power flow through streets, parks, buildings, and homespaces—and how rituals script what feels welcome or invisible. Through attention, mapping, movement, hosting, and story, participants:

  • Re-orient to places as portals to deeper learning and new possibilities

  • Repair relationships within the web of life (not “fix” places as objects)

  • Connect “here” and “there” without reproducing borders

  • Act with courage in unsettled times

Education-forward (not therapy). Grounded in critical anthropology & geography; accessible and movement-friendly. Participants leave with shared vocabulary, 2–3 adaptable exercises, facilitation tips, and a short resource sheet.
